The way ROCK was meant to be...
2019 marks the 20th Anniversary for Saskatoon rock band, Excessive Behaviour. A feat to be proud of in these ever changing times. While having a sound described mostly as classic rock, there is always influences from pop, blues and country. With two talented guitar players, we simply refer to our style as "guitar rock".
In the early years we took pride in writing our own songs and taking on the efforts of recording and producing everything ourselves. 2004 saw us released out first full length CD, "For Medicinal Use Only". These days we are completely enjoying leaving all the recording and mastering work to the pros. We have been recording in studio over the last couple of years to release some upcoming singles.
A few members have come and gone over the years. And tragically, we lost David, our drummer, and one of the founding members of the group in 2018. Leaving Todd (vocals) and Glenn (bass) as original members. The band fills out with Landie (guitar - 18 years), Jordan (guitar - 6 years) and Andrew (drums - 1 year). Surviving ups and downs, the band has always had a diverse range of age and musical backgrounds. Seeing the same fans come out to see the band time and time again continually keeps us energized. After 20 years, it might sound crazy, but there is a renewed feeling that we are just getting started, and will continue to perform - the way Rock was meant to be...
